We recently came across a blog site from Notre Dame High School. It is a really good read and covers a lot of the news that comes from the school. It also has sections on sport; lifestyle and reviews; science and technology and creative writing and opinion.

Last night was the inaugural meeting of the Youth Club in the Grieve Road Community Hub. Early reports, and it is reports because I was elsewhere and am not in the age range anyway, suggest that it was a roaring success. There were 17 young people who turned up to make use of the opportunity. Some feedback from facebook suggests that they all had a great time there.

Wider Connexions are part of the Moving On Inverclyde project. The new drop in facility is in the Larkfield Tenants Hall on a Monday between 11am and 12pm. It is for people who are concerned about their, or a loved ones, alcohol or drug use. Come along for a coffee, cake and a chat....

The two processes for participatory budgeting are up and running. Inverclyde Council has £50,000 available in each of the seven electoral wards in the district.
